Asia. These traditions were mostly religious, but together with the Buddhist missionaries and objects of worship in Tibet came masters of various arts, to establish a local school. They originated the art, sophisticated symbolism of which was able to capture not only the most diverse and colorful pantheon of deities, but also doctrinally very complex religious system - Tantric Buddhism Vajrayana (Diamond Chariots). Tibetans living in one of the most severe climatic regions of the Earth (akin to the polar regions of Russia), have nurtured a civilization in which the predominant tendency to accumulate spiritual and artistic values. For this they deliberately limited the needs of the individual, the individual. Art and iconography Diamond Chariots occupies a unique place not only in the Buddhist (and world) history of art, but actually in the spiritual improvement of members of religious communities. For the image shown - whether in painting or sculpture - is, at least, the object of direct contemplation of the practices to improve awareness, description of the complicated teachings and practices, where each character has a meaning, a set of interrelated myths, legends, doctrines, as well as complex necessary accessories and attributes surrounding the image, including furnishings, furniture in the temple or home altar. Here, even the simplest form of the stool - a prototype lotus throne sacred countenance. Every thing is not only displays the spiritual symbolism of a particular aesthetic direction, but also bear the seal of the creators, custodians, users of the subject of cultural treasures. For all of them - earthly embodiment of celestial deities. Be it Tibetan Book, a painting (tank), ritual objects, specimens for furniture - all this has its own legendary history. And the thing is, the subject goods are often "participated" in the esoteric events. Thanks to the climate works of art are used in Tibet for centuries and do not need restoration. Historically, three Russian people are Buddhist and Tantric. They were Buddhists Diamond Chariots before joining the Russian state, when owned by a single Mongolian community. The massive and widespread adoption of Buddhism, the Mongols had happened in the XVI century. What have actively participated Tibetan Gelug teachers loyal to that still remain Mongolian peoples. Tibetan masters were and lawmakers art of the nomads. Thus, the objects of Tibetan art has long been part of the everyday life of peoples of the Russian culture, are examples of aesthetic education. We can only regret that this centuries-long process of development of spiritual and material treasures of Tibet so malozameten for the cultural elite of Russia. Hopefully, the initiative organizers of this project will be successful and add color to the "white spots" of our historical consciousness.
